Academic Goals
Green Chemistry is aiming to the discovery and design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances. With the growing awareness of the need for greener, more sustainable technologies for a sustainable future, it has been one of most popular research area and theme of 21th Century. The use of atom efficient catalytic methodologies, environmental friendly solvents and bio-renewable resources for the manufacture of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals are significant parts of green chemistry. My ultimate career goal as shown in the following picture is to develop an academic career characterized with an internationally recognized research programme in these areas.
